What makes bourbon different from other whiskey?
Bourbon must be made in the USA from a grain mixture that is at least 51% corn, aged in new charred oak barrels, distilled to no more than 160 proof, and entered into the barrel at no more than 125 proof. There is no minimum aging requirement, though "straight bourbon" must be aged at least 2 years.
What is barrel-to-bottle (BTB) bourbon?
BTB or single barrel selections are individual barrels hand-picked for their standout character. Dorado Rock selects barrels directly from distillers, offering unique expressions you won't find on regular shelves.
